When you join the notify list, we store your email address, an optional ZIP code, and the date you signed up. That's it. No accounts, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies.
To email you when the plug-in solar production database opens, and occasional updates about this project. Nothing else.
We never sell your information. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers. The data lives in our own database, hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure.
State privacy laws give you the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to ask us to delete it. Email contact@pluginsolardata.com and we'll take care of it. Every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.
Right now signup is single opt-in: one form, you're on the list. As the list grows we'll move to confirmed (double) opt-in.
When the database opens, owners who contribute production data will control what they share, and public views will only ever show aggregates (for example, median production by ZIP code), never an identifiable home's data without its owner's say-so. This policy will be updated before any of that launches.
